Alice Robison

BIOGRAPHY

Alice J. Robison, the 2005 GLS Co-Chair, is currently completing a PhD
in the English department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In
the fall of 2006, she will begin a postdoctoral fellowship in the
Comparative Media Studies Program at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology, where she will teach graduate courses on videogames and literacy and consult on the MacArthur Foundation's New Media Literacies Project. Alice is a founding member of the "Room 130" and GAPPS videogames research teams at Wisconsin-Madison and has presented and published her work in the U.S. and abroad; she is also an award-winning classroom teacher.
