Deborah Todd · Susan Maunders · Dabney Standley

Fri., June 12, 11:00–12:30, Class of ’24 (4th floor, East Central)

This is a fast-paced, hands-on, audience participation workshop in game design from the blue sky process though character development, story wraps, puzzle design, level development, and ultimate green-lighting — with a twist: We’ll set our parameters around games that teach! Come ready to play, think, and be challenged to develop fun, compelling, immersive gameplay and go through the game design process with guidance and feedback from our panel of five industry experts.

This 1½-hour workshop has been conducted at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, with a standing-room-only crowd of 200 people. Come and create in a lively, immersive, iterative, and supportive environment, where you’re free to explore great ideas.
