Matthew Berland
Biography
Matthew Berland is a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin working on bootstrapped machine learning and multi-agent systems. He recently received his PhD in learning sciences from Northwestern University, studying computational literacy, systems literacy, and the design of constructionist learning environments. In the fall, he is starting a new position as an assistant professor of instructional technology in the Department of Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching at University of Texas at San Antonio.
