Chris Stubbs is a project manager and educational game designer for Pennsylvania State University’s Educational Gaming Commons — a university-wide initiative dedicated to the use of video games in support instruction and research. His personal and research interests include avatars and perception of self, leadership in virtual environments, the role of achievements in motivated game play, and the use commercial games for educational purposes.

Chris also serves as a collaborative developer and designer for Pennsylvania State University’s Education Technology Services unit, where he leverages emerging technologies and social media to support teaching and learning.
