Linda Polin

Biography

Linda Polin holds the Davidson Endowed Professorship in education and technology at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology where she teaches graduate courses in the doctoral program in educational technology. Her research focuses on cultural knowledge production in online communities. Currently she is examining both a very large scale community supporting World of Warcraft game play, and a much smaller, interactive, steampunk role–playing community.
