Jeff Sun
Biography

Jeff Sun, director of Sun Associates, has over 20 years of experience working in education and technology — particularly in the areas of identifying, evaluating, documenting, and planning for successful instructional technology practice. Jeff’s firm — Sun Associates — provides program evaluation services for a number of federal- and state-funded educational projects such as Teaching American History, National Science Foundation ITEST projects, STEM grants, and others. State work is focused on developing a linkage between local strategic technology planning and integrated, reflective, evaluation practices. In addition to these large state and national projects, Sun Associates also works closely with individual school districts to develop evaluation and assessment frameworks that examine the impact of instructional technology on teaching and learning. Jeff also has extensive experience working as a service provider to schools and districts through Learning Innovations at WestEd and through the U.S. Department of Education’s former Regional Technology in Education Centers (RTEC) program. Prior to founding Sun Associates, Mr. Sun was the director of educational technology for the Northeast and Islands Regional Educational Laboratory.
