Lee Sherlock
Biography

Lee Sherlock is a PhD student in Rhetoric & Writing at Michigan State University, where he also holds an MA in Digital Rhetoric & Professional Writing along with a graduate certificate in serious game design through the Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media. His current interests include the roles of genre and activity systems in digital gaming; the design and assessment of serious games; race, class, gender, and sexuality in relation to gaming; and the use of games in writing courses. He has recently published work in The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy (2008, Open Court Press) and has a forthcoming article in July 2009 for the Journal of Business and Technical Communication (special issue on social software in professional communication). He also enjoys being a part of the lovably nerdy World of Warcraft guild Terror Nova but wishes he had the time to log on more.
