Bob Coulter
Biography

As director of the Litzsinger Road Ecology Center, Bob provides administrative and strategic leadership for a 34-acre suburban nature center. He is also the principal investigator and project director for two National Science Foundation-funded research projects. Both of these leverage students’ interest in technology and service learning to build commitment to the local environment. A new strand of work is exploring the value of students designing their own computer games as a tool for understanding science. Prior to joining the Garden, he was an award-winning elementary grade science and mathematics teacher in public and private schools.
