Jodi Asbell-Clarke
Biography

Jodi Asbell-Clarke is the principle investigator of the Blue Mars Science Center project at TERC. She has led and helps lead several national science education projects at TERC including Investigating Astronomy, Hands-On Universe, and the Inquiry Project. She was also the PI of Learning Science Online, a study on learning in 40 online science courses for teachers. Jodi’s background includes working for IBM on the early space shuttle software, graduate work in astrophysics, teaching high school physics and astronomy, and 20 years of experience in technology-based science learning for students, teachers, and the general public. She is currently a doctoral student at OISE/University of Toronto, and part-time faculty at Saint Mary’s University, in addition to her work at TERC.
