Peter Hastings

Biography

Peter Hastings is an Associate Professor in the College of Computing and Digital Media at DePaul University. He has over 40 refereed publications in Natural Language Processing, Cognitive Science, and Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED). He has developed or helped to develop 6 Artificial Intellgence in education applications, including Research Methods Tutor, which has been shown to produce significant learning gains when used by students in conjunction with their regular class work.
