Victor Lee

Biography

Victor Lee, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences at Utah State University. A recreational board game player, Victor Lee and Matthew Berland (University of Texas at San Antonio) have been studying rule learning and strategy development during complex board game play. In addition to thinking about games, Lee studies cognition, the use of external representations in science education, and design strategies for incorporating physical activity data devices into K-12 math and science education. Lee’s doctoral studies were completed at Northwestern University in learning sciences and his bachelor’s degrees were in cognitive science and mathematics.
