Dr. Ruhui Ni is a Research Associate working at Confucius Institute at Michigan State University. She received her PhD of Educational Psychology and Educational Technology from College of Education, Michigan State University in 2009.

Ruhui Ni’s research interests include educational technology adoption in schools, comparative and international education research, and gaming in foreign language learning. Her dissertation study is a comparative research on the differences of educational values between the U.S. and China. Ruhui Ni has been working as the project director for Zon, an MMORPG aimed at supporting Chinese language learning and Chinese culture education at MSU for about two and a half years. She's been engaged in the major stages of design and development of the game as well as the integrating Zon in K-12 schools for Chinese learning.
