Marian Pasquale
Biography
Marian M. Pasquale, a Senior Research Scientist at CSE, is the science advisor on the Education Development Center’s Possible Worlds project. She was a Co-Principal Investigator of the Middle-Grades Science Mentoring Program and the Math and Science Partnership project in Cleveland, Ohio, two NSF-funded initiatives designed to decrease the attrition of science teachers of early adolescent students. She designed and conducts mentor teacher institutes on physical, life, and earth science, and mentoring strategies, and conducts on-site classroom observations and study groups for mentor teachers. Ms. Pasquale was the middle school team leader on the Center for Urban Science Education Reform (CUSER) project and on the EDC K–12 Science Curriculum Dissemination Center. She has done presentations on middle school science at NSTA, MSA, NSDC, and the Urban NMSA. She heads the middle school development team for the Department of Defense (DoDEA) curriculum guide.
