Luciane Maria Fadel

Biography

Luciane Maria Fadel is an experienced Senior Lecturer and course developer. She is now working as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Design at the Federal University of Parana, Curitiba, Brazil. Having a background in visual communication and computer engineering has been a strong influence in her area of research which is multi-faceted computer interface design combined with human factor interaction. Exploring the human interaction within the e-learning environment was the enhanced area of research undertaken during her PhD study within the United Kingdom. Whilst gaining her international external accreditation from the University she was able to publish and present a number of papers at prestigious conferences within Europe and Brazil. Returning to Brazil after her PhD she has progressed further her ideas for the University within this emerging and complex area of technology as a means of delivering effective e-learning solutions. Recognising the combination of e-learning with an emotional and cultural sensitivity is an emerging and accelerating trend in education service delivery not only in Brazil but in other on line universities around the world.
