BIOGRAPHY

Jeffrey Bardzell is an Assistant Professor of Informatics at Indiana University. He leverages research and practice from a number of fields, including human-computer interaction, philosophy, literature and the arts, postmodern critical theory, multimedia design, and learning theory to explore the meaning, value, and aesthetics of emerging phenomena in digital environments, ranging from creative design software to massively multiplayer online games. He is interested not only in cultural and social criticism of new media artifacts, but also in the construction of new theories to explain them.
