Scott Hagen

BIOGRAPHY

Scott Hagen completed his undergraduate education at the US Air Force Academy and completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin. After completing medical school, Scott completed pediatric residency training at the David Grant US Air Force Medical Center and later completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Scott has held numerous clinical, educational, and administrative positions in the United States and Europe. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, specializing in pediatric critical care medicine at the University of Wisconsin. Scott is an accomplished academic author, teacher, and clinician who has successfully integrated simulation into his academic practice. He developed a simulation-based curriculum used to train multidisciplinary pediatric critical care transport teams at the University of Wisconsin Children’s Hospital. Scott regularly integrates simulation into the pediatric graduate education program at the University of Wisconsin.
