Rebecca Reynolds

Biography

As director of research, Dr. Rebecca Reynolds is responsible for establishing the requirements and methodology for measuring the success and impact of the Globaloria program, and for conducting impact research and coordinating the foundation’s research partnerships. In the past year, she has been collaborating with Dr. Idit Harel Caperton on the development of the foundation’s overall program of research for Globaloria, including an online Research Lab using Web 2.0 technologies (such as wikis and blogs) to enable real-time sharing and publishing of data and findings among a network of research partners, educators, and the public. Rebecca received her PhD in mass communications at the Newhouse School, Syracuse University, in 2008, focusing on children’s use of technology for learning. Her prior professional experience includes key roles in product management and interactive marketing for Pearson’s FamilyEducation Network, ZDNet Ziff Davis, Peoplestreet, and TechTarget. She holds a BA in sociology from Tufts University, and MA in media studies from the Newhouse School, Syracuse.
