Warwick Phipps
Biography
Warwick Phipps (aka Eveldor) is an IT manager and an avid fan of MMO role-playing games, including Lineage, Lineage 2, Theasa, Plait Side, Horizons, World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Earth and Beyond, and EVE Online.
Over the last 13 years, he has worked his way through the IT ranks, starting as private (general dogs body) through knight (IT consultant) to commander (IT manager). He currently works for the UK’s 3rd largest electrical contractor, and really enjoys the challenges he faces on a daily basis.
With the work bit out the way, now we can get down to the good stuff, The Pursuit of FUN!
Warwick was lucky enough to be born into the gaming generation, and started his gaming career with a SEGA Master system with quickly turned into a Mega drive. This, however, left him wanting much more, more that he was later to learn could only be fulfilled by a PC and the wonderful world of MMORPGs. Having raced his way through the obligatory titles like walthamstine, Doom/Doom 2, and Quake, he stumbled on a game called Baldur’s Gate (his first RPG) this naturally lead to Baldur’s Gate 2 and all the appropriate add-ons. His first MMO was a game called Lineage. This game is amazingly like an MMO version of Baldur’s Gate, and that’s where his addiction started.
