Yurimi Grigsby

Biography

Yurimi Michael Grigsby is an assistant professor in curriculum and instruction at Concordia University Chicago. She teaches graduate students in English as a second language courses. She will graduate with a PhD in ESL education from the University of Tennessee in December 2008. Her dissertation research involves the perceptions and experiences of ESL and bilingual education teachers of technology integration in the K–12 classroom. She is a former high school language teacher. Her current research interests include: online gaming, learning, and identity negotiation.
