Gene Tagliarini

Biography

Gene A. Tagliarini, associate professor of Computer Science at University of North Carolina at Wilmington, received BA and MA degrees in mathematics from the University of South Florida and PhD in computer science from Clemson University. Dr. Tagliarini, who has served as principal investigator for both Department of Defense and industry contracts, is an active researcher in the field of biologically inspired computing. Recently, Dr. Tagliarini has worked with Dr. Sridhar Narayan using robotics to teach middle-school students object-oriented programming at a week-long summer camp.
